The Mayflower brought the Pilgrims to America in 1620. The Pilgrims were English Separatists who sought freedom from religious persecution in England. In late December of 1620 they landed and founded the Colony of Plymouth, Massachusetts.

This carving is based on blueprints and information provided by British Marine Architect David MacGregor, American Marine Architect William A. Baker and C.F. Travers, Head of Research at Plymouth Plantation.

We are open in January on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 to 4. We will be open on Martin Luther King Day 10 to 4. Please note the following:

1) Our hilltop receives the worst of wintertime weather and so we do close at a moment's notice when our parking lot becomes dangerous. Please feel free to call if you have concerns about your visit. 330-852-6096.

2) Our carver will very likely be here Monday thru Saturday so if you are here early in the week you are likely to find us open but this is his relaxed time of the year and he may or may not be here early in the week. If you are planning a visit just call us and we will be here for you with weather permitting.

From April 1 through October 31 we are open Monday thru Saturday 10 till 5. We are always closed on Sundays. We are closed on Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day.
